I take great care to ensure that every shape is perfectly symmetrical, aligned, and the exact size and shape needed to make the item as it is seen in my product picture. I start all of my projects by first making a template, and in fact all of the items pictured in my listings were created using these templates. It is a full sized, perfectly shaped and aligned pattern for all the pieces required to build a particular prop or costume piece. What is a template? If you have ever tried to make a prop or costume piece from scratch before and had a difficult time getting everything the right size and shape, a template is the thing you probably wished you had had during the process.
